Taman Menteng dan Lapangan Banteng Buka 24 Jam Mulai Akhir Februari

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Taman Menteng dan Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta Pusat, direncanakan bakal beroperasi selama 24 jam mulai akhir Februari 2025.
Kepala Suku Dinas Pertamanan dan Hutan Kota (Tamhut) Jakarta Pusat, Mila Ananda mengatakan pihaknya telah menetapkan dua kategori taman yang akan beroperasi selama 24 jam.
"Rencananya se-Jakarta akan ada 10 taman diresmikan akhir Februari ini. Kalau di Jakarta Pusat, Taman Menteng dan Lapangan Banteng," kata Mila dalam keterangannya, Kamis (6/2/2025).
Selain kedua taman ini, pihaknya juga tengah menyiapkan 13 taman lingkungan untuk dioperasikan selama 24 jam. Namun, pihaknya masih melakukan pendataan dan koordinasi dengan warga sebelum menerapkan kebijakan ini.
Suku Dinas Tamhut masih harus melakukan koordinasi dengan jajaran kelurahan, pengurus RT/RW dan tokoh masyarakat sekitar taman, terutama terkait aspek keamanan dan kenyamanan lingkungan.
Mila menegaskan bahwa operasional taman selama 24 jam harus mendapat persetujuan warga sekitar.
"Operasional taman lingkungan selama 24 jam harus dapat persetujuan warga sekitar," ujar Mila.
Nantinya, Sudin Tamhut akan menyiapkan petugas penjaga di area taman untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban.
Mila pun berharap adanya peran aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga ketertiban di area taman.
"Dukungan masyarakat akan memastikan keamanan dan pemanfaatan taman pada malam hari agar ke depannya tidak disalahfungsikan oknum tidak bertanggung jawab," katanya.
Adapun pembukaan taman selama 24 jam merupakan inisiatif Gubernur Jakarta terpilih, Pramono Anung.
Pramono mengatakan taman-taman tersebut dibuka 24 jam demi memberikan akses lebih luas kepada warga Jakarta, terutama mereka yang ingin menikmati fasilitas taman pada malam hari.
