President Prabowo Arrives in Indonesia after Visiting Thailand

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Indonesia on Monday (19/5/2025) evening WIB after conducting a three-day official visit to Bangkok, Thailand since Saturday (17/5/2025).
President Prabowo was seen off by a number of honorary guards from the Thai military. He departed from Don Mueang Royal Thai Air Force Base at around 16:20 local time.
Several officials who accompanied President Prabowo's departure included Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Transportation of Thailand Suriya Jungrungreangkit, Thai Minister of Trade Pichai Naripthaphan, Thai Ambassador to Indonesia Prapan Disyatat, Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand Rachmat Budiman, and Indonesian Defense Attaché Bangkok Col. Cke. Faisal Rahmat Hutagalung.
"We have had diplomatic relations for 75 years. Our relationship has now reached a strategic partnership," said President Prabowo in a joint press statement after a bilateral meeting at Government House, Bangkok, Thailand.
While in Thailand, President Prabowo carried out an important agenda, namely an official audience with the King of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn, to an official welcome by the Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra which was continued with a bilateral meeting of the delegations of the two countries.
President Prabowo made a visit to Thailand accompanied by a number of ministers such as Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
