Pope Francis' Funeral Mass Held at Paris' Notre Dame Cathedral

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pope Francis' funeral mass was held at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, on Friday evening local time.
The funeral mass for the leader of the Catholic Church was attended by a large congregation, as well as French Prime Minister François Bayrou, Labor and Health Minister Catherine Vautrin, and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
Around 250,000 people came to St. Peter's Basilica to give their last respects to Pope Francis during his three-day interment at the Vatican on Friday.
Meanwhile, the funeral service will take place on Saturday at 8:00 GMT (15:00 WIB), which will be presided over by the Dean of the College of Cardinals, Giovanni Battista Re.
The motorcade carrying the body of Pope Francis will cross the streets of Rome slowly to give citizens the opportunity to say goodbye.
Pope Francis passed away on April 21 at his Vatican residence at the age of 88.
