Several Asian Countries Started to Evacuate Their Citizens from Iran and Israel

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Several Asian countries have begun evacuating their citizens from Iran and Israel amid the conflict between the two countries.

As reported by Antara, China is one of the countries that has ordered its citizens to leave the conflict area "as soon as possible. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) has also confirmed that it has cooperated with the relevant embassies and consulates "to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens in Iran and Israel and coordinate the evacuation as soon as possible,"

India has also done the same by ordering its citizens to leave the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Meanwhile, South Korea has also raised the travel warning status to Iran and Israel. South Korea has asked its citizens to leave Iran and Israel immediately.

Japan, through Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya, said the government is preparing for the possibility of Japanese citizens being evacuated from Iran and Israel.

"The situation is getting tense, so we will remain vigilant to protect our citizens," said Iwaya, while calling on the warring parties to exercise restraint.

Evacuation orders were also issued by Malaysia, Thailand, and Bangladesh. The three countries asked their citizens to leave Iran and Israel.

"The government has prepared all necessary steps to assist workers Thailand,” said Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

As is known, the conflict between Israel and Iran heated up after Israel attacked a number of Iranian nuclear facilities. Not remaining silent, Iran responded to the attack by launching missiles at the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv.
