SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that rain with various intensities will fall in several major cities, Friday (6/13/2025) today.

As reported by Antara, BMKG forecaster Nurul Izzah Fitria said that rain with light intensity or less than 2.5 mm per hour is predicted to pour in the cities of Tanjung Pinang, Padang, Jambi, Bengkulu, Bandar Lampung, Pangkal Pinang, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Mataram, Tanjung Selor, Ambon, Sorong, Ternate, Manokwari, Nabire, Makassar, and Kendari.

Nurul said that the potential for rain in most parts of Indonesia is influenced by a number of atmospheric dynamics, the transition to the dry season, and local weather conditions in each region.

BMKG, among other things, detected the presence of Tropical Cyclone Seed Wutip in the South Love Sea/northeast Vietnam. This affects the meeting of winds and increases the potential for rain cloud growth.
