Mulai 1 Januari, Jalur Pendakian Gunung Rinjani Ditutup Selama 3 Bulan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani (TNGR) Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), menutup semua destinasi wisata alam pendakian Gunung Rinjani selama 3 bulan.

Penutupan pendakian Gunung Rinjani ini akan mulai ditutup pada 1 Januari hingga 2 April 2025.

"Semua jalur pendakian menuju kawasan Gunung Rinjani ditutup mulai Januari hingga April 2025 mendatang," kata Kepala Balai TNGR Yarman

Ia mengatakan bahwa peralihan menuju musim hujan sering kali membawa potensi bencana hidrometeorologi.

Bencana tersebut seperti hujan lebat, angin kencang, hingga ancaman banjir dan tanah longsor pada puncak musim hujan 2025.

Hal ini membuat pihaknya melakukan penutupan rutin setiap awal tahun sebagai bentuk cinta kepada alam juga memberi waktu bagi Gunung Rinjani untuk memulihkan diri.

Tidak hanya itu, ini dilakukan untuk melindugi para pecinta gunung dari risiko yang tak terduga.

"Di setiap perjalanan menuju keindahan, ada saatnya kami memberi ruang bagi alam untuk bernapas. Demi pemulihan ekosistem dan keselamatan bersama," katanya.

Adapun 6 jalur pendakian yang ditutup yaitu pendakian Senaru di Kabupaten Lombok Utara dan Jalur pendakian Torean di Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Kemudian jalur pendakian Sembalun di Kabupaten Lombok Timur dan jalur pendakian Timbanuh di Kabupaten Lombok Timur.

Selain itu jalur pendakian Tetebatu di Kabupaten Lombok Timur dan jalur pendakian Aik Berik di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah.

Untuk pendakian terakhir dapat dilakukan pada akhir bulan Desember 2024.
