24-Hour Medical Stations Ready in Rest Areas for Emergencies

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Tangerang City Health Office has established 24-hour health service posts at Rest Area KM 13 and Rest Area KM 14 to ensure the safety and well-being of travelers during the 2025 Eid homecoming season.
"These two health posts will operate around the clock, considering the high risk of accidents and other health emergencies in these areas," said Tangerang Health Office Head, Dr. Dini Anggraeni, as quoted on Antara, on Tuesday.
A total of 28 healthcare personnel, along with fully equipped medical facilities, have been deployed to provide free health services at the designated posts. The operation period runs from March 23 to April 7, 2025, aligning with the strategic security measures set by the Metro Tangerang City Police at key travel routes.
Travelers stopping by the health posts can access various medical services, including blood pressure checks, emergency treatments, and free ambulance services for hospital referrals if necessary.
"We have ensured that these health posts are fully operational. Together with other joint task forces, we aim to provide optimal services, guaranteeing a safe and comfortable travel experience for all mudik participants," Dr. Dini added as quoted on Antara.
The Tangerang City Health Office is also reminding all travelers to prioritize their health before, during, and after their journey.
"We encourage everyone to stay mindful of their well-being. If any health issues arise during the trip, they should take advantage of the available health service posts," Dr. Dini emphasized as quoted on Antara.
With these initiatives, Tangerang authorities hope to enhance public safety and ensure a smooth, worry-free travel experience for Eid homecoming participants in 2025.
