President Prabowo Rides in Garuda Limousine from PT Pindad

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-After his inauguration at the MPR/DPR Building, President Prabowo Subianto went to the Merdeka Palace to attend an event with former President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. Prabowo traveled in a white Garuda Limousine SUV marked GARUDA, manufactured by PT Pindad.

Upon arriving at the MPR/DPR Building, Prabowo traveled in a white Toyota Alphard, the car he usually used as Defense Minister from 2019 to 2024.

The vehicle had already drawn attention at the moment of Prabowo’s inauguration as president. The car was parked at the MPR/DPR Building. The PT Pindad-made vehicle is referred to as a new model of the Morino MV type.

The vehicle looks impressive as it’s a lightweight tactical vehicle commonly used to support operations in difficult battlefield terrains. This vehicle has agile maneuverability when navigating quite rugged areas.

During his journey to the Merdeka Palace, Prabowo took the time to greet the residents waiting along the roadside. The former Defense Minister also stood to shake hands with the enthusiastic citizens congratulating him.

Throughout the journey from the MPR/DPR Building to the Merdeka Palace, thousands of people eagerly awaited a glimpse of Prabowo inside the vehicle.

After attending the event at the Merdeka Palace, Prabowo reportedly will accompany Joko Widodo to the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport for his return to his hometown in Solo, Central Java.
