SEAToday.com, Tangerang - The Tangerang City government has opened an education and counseling service to maintain the mental health of workers. This service is a result of cooperation between the Women Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning Office (DP3AP2KB) as well as the Tangerang City Family Learning Center.

The head of the Women and Child Protection Division of DP3AP2KB Wilopo Tetuko Sigit said on Tuesday (10/1), “This is a step to understand the workers, so they are able to maintain a balance between their roles as workers and their responsibilities as parents.”

There are several materials that have been prepared, such as education on stress management, strategies to maintain mental health, and how to build effective communication with children while working.

He mentioned that mental health is a factor that affects work performance and family harmony. In addition, this activity is also an effort by the Tangerang City government to reduce the level of parental violence against children in the family.
