SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Entering the rainy season, the Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) will provide rubber boats to assist voters affected by flooding in reaching polling stations (TPS) on November 27.

According to data from KPU offices across Jakarta's municipalities, 572 polling stations are at risk of flooding. This information has been shared with BPBD Jakarta to facilitate disaster mitigation efforts.

The Head of the Socialization, Voter Education, and Public Participation Division of the Jakarta KPU Astri Megatari said, “For polling stations located in flood-prone areas, we have requested the PPS (Voting Committee) and KPPS (Polling Station Working Committee) to find safer locations to ensure that voting is not disrupted by flooding."
