Indonesia Condemns Israel's Efforts to Undermine the Ceasefire Agreement

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian government strongly condemns Israel's attempts to weaken the ceasefire agreement in Gaza by violating the initial terms, unilaterally demanding an extension of the first phase, and avoiding discussions on the second phase.
In a statement released on Monday, Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted that obstructing humanitarian aid to Gaza and using it as a bargaining tool in ceasefire negotiations constitutes a war crime.
The ministry also stated that Israel's actions are a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.
Indonesia urges the international community to pressure Israel to immediately allow the delivery of humanitarian aid and proceed with the second-phase negotiations in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.
Furthermore, Indonesia reaffirms its unwavering support for the two-state solution as the only path toward lasting peace in the region.
