Israel Intensifies Attacks on Southern Lebanon Ahead of Troop Withdrawal Deadline

SEAToday.com, Beirut - Israel continues to bombard southern Lebanon with airstrikes, targeting the villages of Tayr Harfa and Aaichiyehin in Jezzine District, as well as triggering two explosions in the border town of Odaisseh, Marjayoun District.
These attacks come amid Israel’s violations of the ceasefire, just moments before the deadline for Zionist troops to withdraw from the area.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the Israeli Air Force launched two airstrikes targeting the Litani River area, specifically between Lahed Bridge and Mahmoudiyeh in Aaichiyehin, Jezzine. Additionally, Israeli warplanes struck Ain ez Zarqa on the outskirts of Tayr Harfa in Tyre District.
Further reports indicated that Israeli forces detonated two explosions in Odaisseh, Marjayoun District.
The airstrikes occurred just before Tuesday’s deadline for Israel to withdraw from towns it has occupied in southern Lebanon during its recent military operations. However, Israel remains adamant about maintaining its forces in five strategic border points, most of which are elevated areas overlooking Israeli settlements.
