Weather Forecast: Light Rain Expected in Parts of Jakarta on Monday Morning

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that several areas in Jakarta will experience light rain on Monday (2/10) morning.

According to information posted on BMKG's official Instagram account, @infobmkg, light rain is expected in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands Regency. Meanwhile, East Jakarta is predicted to be mostly cloudy.

By midday, all areas of Jakarta are expected to be under cloudy skies, with this condition persisting into the afternoon in West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands. Light rain is forecasted for South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon, while Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are expected to remain cloudy.

In the evening, most areas in Jakarta are predicted to be heavily cloudy, except for the Thousand Islands, which will experience partly cloudy conditions.

BMKG also forecasts Jakarta’s temperature on Monday to range between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds reaching 0-26 kilometers per hour.
