Tim Indonesia Raih Satu Emas, Tiga Perunggu, dan Dua Honorable Mention di IMO ke-65

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Tim Olimpiade Matematika Indonesia meraih satu medali emas, tiga perunggu dan dua "Honorable Mention" dalam ajang International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) ke-65 yang digelar di Bath, Britania Raya, pada 11-22 Juli. Hal tersebut diumumkan dalam rilis Kemendikbudristek, Jumat (26/7).

Satu medali emas diraih oleh Kevin Adi Senjaya dari SMAS Kristen BPK Penabur Gading Serpong. Sementara tiga medali perunggu masing-masing direbut oleh Frederico Samuel Halim (SMA Kristen 1 BPK Penabur Bandung), Ben Robinson (SMA Kristen Petra 1 Surabaya), dan Raymond Christopher Tanto (SMAS Kristen Kalam Kudus Sukoharjo).

Sedangkan dua "Honorable Mention" diperoleh Maulana Satya Adigama (SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang), dan Timothy William Koesasih (SMA Kristen Petra 2 Surabaya).

Prestasi gemilang Indonesia tersebut berhasil diperoleh setelah bersaing dengan 609 siswa dari 109 negara yang berpartisipasi.
