Hampir 1.000 Pengungsi Rohingya Tiba di Aceh
SEAToday.com, Aceh - Dalam sepekan terakhir, arus kedatangan pengungsi etnis Rohingya asal Myanmar ke Provinsi Aceh terus bertambah. Ada lima kapal yang membawa sekitar seribu pengungsi mendarat di Kabupaten Pidie, Bireuen, dan Aceh Utara.
Minggu (19/11) dini hari, kapal berpenumpang 241 pengungsi Rohingya mendarat di Desa Kulee, Kecamatan Batee, Pidie. Siang harinya, kapal yang membawa 249 pengungsi Rohingya juga mendarat di perairan Gandapura, Kabupaten Bireuen.
Datangnya rombongan pengungsi ini membuat penduduk Aceh dilema. Sejak beberapa tahun terakhir, Aceh menjadi tempat singgah bagi para pengungsi Rohingya yang hendak mencari suaka ke Malaysia. Namun selama singgah, para pengungsi dinilai tidak berperilaku ramah ke masyarakat, bahkan ada yang melarikan diri dari tempat penampungan. Alasan tersebut membuat penduduk Aceh saat ini menolak kedatangan pengungsi Rohingya, ditambah kondisi kesulitan ekonomi yang sedang mereka alami.
