Investor Utama LRT Bali Ditetapkan, Groundbreaking Dijadwalkan September 2024
SEAToday.com, Denpasar - PT Bumi Indah Prima (BIP) telah ditetapkan sebagai Qualified Partner dan Lead Consortium of Investors untuk pembangunan transportasi massal berbasis kereta di Bali (Bali Urban Rail and Associated Facilities), Rabu (24/7).
Proyek pembangunan LRT ini memiliki nilai investasi mencapai 20 miliar dolar AS dan akan dilakukan dalam empat tahap. Tahap 1 Airport-Kuta Sentral Parkir-Seminyak-Berawa-Cemagi, tahap 2 Airport-Jimbaran-UNUD-Nusa Dua, tahap 3 Kuta Sentral Parkir-Sesetan-Renon-Sanur, dan tahap 4 Renon-Sukawati-Ubud.
Groundbreaking telah dijadwalkan pada September 2024. Fase Airport-Kuta dan Airport-Jimbaran-UNUD-Nusa Dua ditargetkan rampung awal tahun 2028, dan keseluruhan fase satu dan dua diselesaikan pada tahun 2031.
Bali Urban Rail ini juga tidak dibangun melayang (elevated), melainkan di bawah tanah karena sejumlah alasan, salah satunya ketentuan adat Bali yang melarang bangunan lebih tinggi dari 15 meter.
