SEAToday.com, Gaza - Geneva-based nonprofit organization Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said on Wednesday (3/27) that the Israeli military has executed 13 children by “direct shooting” in al-Shifa Medical Complex and its surroundings.

The NGO’s field team reported “identical testimonies” about the killings of Palestinian children between the ages of 4 and 16. Some occurred while the victims and their families were inside their homes, while others attempted to escape via routes that the Israeli army had designated as "safe”.

The NGO also called the week-long Israeli military operation in and around the al-Shifa Medical Complex to have included “extrajudicial executions and deliberate killings of Palestinian civilians”.

The NGO called the killings a blatant violation of international law, a war crime, a crime against humanity, and genocide against the Palestinians. They seek to protect the Palestinian children, as 14,405, or more than one third of the dead victims in Gaza since October 7, were children. They also called on the UN to investigate the killings and for the international community to defend Palestians.
