KPU Ensures Packaging Process for General Election Complete on 1 February

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The General Election Commission (KPU) ensures the stages of sorting and folding ballot papers as well as packaging election logistics can be completed 100 percent by February 1 2024.

"Today, after I attended the KPPS inauguration activity in Yogyakarta, I am now visiting the election logistics warehouse at the Bantul KPU,"

"Alhamdulilllah (Thank God), everything went smoothly and it is certain that by February 1 2024 everything will be 100 percent complete," said Indonesian KPU Commissioner Idham Kholik as reported by Antara.

Idham added that so far there have been no problems regarding the process of sorting and folding ballot papers as well as logistical packaging from ballot boxes to voting booths. Also, there have been no problems regarding the equipment needed in the voting spots (TPS).

"Nationally it is the same, there are no significant obstacles, God willing, we will provide services to voters as they should at the TPS on Wednesday 14 February, everything is ready to serve voters," he said.

Furthermore, Idham said that the KPU also ensured that the logistics preparation stages for the 2024 Election in all regions ran smoothly, both sorting and folding ballot papers and packaging, everything had to be on time.

"Nationally there are no problems, because today everything has almost certainly been finished for folding, now it's just the packaging process," said Idham in conclusion.
