Longsor di Sichuan: 1 Tewas, 28 Hilang
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Bencana longsor di desa daerah Yibin, Sichuan memakan korban. Sedikitnya satu orang dilaporkan tewas dan 28 lainnya masih hilang pada Sabtu (8/2/2025).
Menurut laporan kantor berita Xinhua seperti dilansir dari Antara, proses evakuasi terhambat karena longsor masih berlangsung. Dua orang mengalami luka-luka, sementara sekitar 400 warga telah dievakuasi demi keselamatan mereka.
Pemerintah setempat mengerahkan sekitar 1.000 personel, termasuk polisi bersenjata, petugas pemadam kebakaran, dan tim tanggap darurat, serta berbagai sumber daya lainnya untuk mempercepat operasi penyelamatan.
Akibat curah hujan yang tinggi dan kondisi geologis yang labil, longsor kini telah berubah menjadi aliran puing. Material yang terbawa diperkirakan mencapai lebih dari 100.000 meter kubik dengan panjang sekitar 1,2 kilometer.
