MRT Jakarta to Stop Use of Multi Trip Card

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-As of October 31, 2024, PT MRT Jakarta will revoke the use of Multiple Trip Ticket (MTT), following the discontinuation of MTT card sales on January 1, 2024.

 

This announcement was made by MRT Jakarta via its official Instagram accounts (@mrtjkt) and (@mrtjktinfo), as quoted on Wednesday (10/16).

 

MRT wrote that those using Multiple Travel Card/Multi Trip Ticket (MTT) should note that the card will expire on October 31, 2024.

 

For those with remaining balances on their cards, refunds for MTT balances will be available at the nearest MRT Jakarta stations.

 

The deadline for balance refund is set for November 14, 2024 with non-cash refund options, including MartiPay balances (MyMRTJ app), e-wallets (GoPay/DANA) and all Indonesian bank accounts. Card holders may also keep their MTT card as a memento.

 

In the future, passengers can use other payment methods for the Jakarta MRT, including:

  • Single Trip Ticket (STT)
  • Jaklingko Card
  • CommuterLine KMT
  • Prepaid cards (Mandiri e-money, Brizzi, Flazz, TapCash, JakCard)
  • The MyMRTJ app
