4 Soldiers Passed in Air Force EMB-314 Super Tucano Fighter Crash

SEAToday.com, Pasuruan - Four Indonesian Air Force soldiers were killed in the crash of an Air Force EMB-314 Super Tucano fighter plane on Thursday (11/16). The four soldiers are Colonel Subhan, Colonel Widiono Hadiwijaya, Lieutenant Colonel Sandhra Gunawan, and Major Yuda Anggara Seta.

The four bodies were released through military honors on Friday (11/17) morning from Squadron 21 of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base, Malang.

Head of the Indonesian Air Force Information Service, First Marshal R. Agung Sasongkojati, said the bodies of Colonel Subhan, Colonel Widiono, and Lieutenant Colonel Sandhra Gunawan will be buried at the Heroes Cemetery in Malang, and the body of Major Yuda Anggara Seta will be buried at TMP Madiun.

Previously, two Super Tucano fighter planes from Air Squadron 21 of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base with tail numbers TT-3103 and TT-3111 experienced lost contact and crashed while conducting a Profiensi Formation Flight mission.
