SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) has opened the sale of train tickets in anticipation of the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.
According to data from KAI Operating Region (Daop) 1 Jakarta, as of Monday (11/13), 75 thousand train tickets were sold for departures on December 22 and 23, 2023 from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station. Many passengers are heading to Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo, Semarang, Tegal, Solo, and Bandung.
In preparation for the Nataru transportation period, Daop 1 Jakarta has also conducted inspections at 8 stations along the Cikarang-Cikampek route, including Cikarang, Lemahabang, Kedung Gedeh, Karawang, Klari, Kosambi, Dawuan, and Cikampek.
