Lewis Hamilton Calls for Ceasefire in Gaza Through Instagram Stories

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - F1 driver Lewis Hamilton shared a powerful message on his Instagram story on Wednesday (3/20) regarding the ongoing attacks in Gaza.

The 39-year-old champion urged for a ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan. This ceasefire would give Palestinians a respite from the violence and a chance to gather for religious observances.

"In a month that is sacred to so many in the region, we must keep calling for a permanent ceasefire and the return of hostages. This would allow families to be together and find freedom from the constant threat of destruction and violence."

He additionally highlighted the difficult conditions faced by the Muslim community, particularly during Suhoor (the pre-dawn meal before fasting begins) in the Rafah refugee camps.
