SOEs Ministry Supports SOE Group Collaboration with Microsoft to Accelerate Digital Transformation

SEAToday.com, Seattle - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) supports collaboration between the SOE Group and Microsoft to accelerate and expand digital transformation.

The signing of the framework agreement between the SOE Digital Forum (FORDIGI) and Microsoft took place in Seattle on Monday (12/18), which was carried out by Chairman of FORDIGI BUMN Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid and Director Operations Microsoft Asia Pacific Operation Center Robert Karczewski and witnessed by the Deputy of Human Resources, Technology, and Information of the SOEs Ministry as the supervisor of FORDIGI BUMN Tedi Bharata, Corporate Vice President & Deputy General Counsel of Microsoft Antony Cook, Chief Technology Officer for Data Microsoft Raghu Ramakrishnan, and President Director of Microsoft Indonesia, Dharma Simorangkir.

Tedi Bharata said that technology leadership and digital transformation in the SOE ecosystem are the foundation for strength and progress.

"With the large role of SOEs as the locomotive of national development and the scale of the SOE Group, we must ensure that no one is left behind, including all SOE holding companies as well as their children and grandchildren across the archipelago," said Tedi.

This collaboration will improve data security through better cybersecurity within the SOE Group. In addition, it will also increase the use of AI to optimize SOE business management.

Meanwhile, Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid said that the strategic collaboration with Microsoft is in line with the commitment of the Ministry of SOEs and FORDIGI BUMN's efforts to strengthen synergies within the SOE Group, as well as with technology solution provider partners to accelerate and expand digital transformation in the SOE ecosystem to become a globally competitive technology leader.
