Fifty percent of Citizens Consider the Decision of Presidential Age Limit to be Unfair

The decision of Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates is considered unfair by 50% of citizens based on a survey from an Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI)

This survey involved 1,229 respondents in early October 2023 with an error rate of less than 2.9%.
The survey result also shows that Prabowo Subiyanto's electability increases slightly if he is paired with Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the son of President Joko Widodo. However, if more and more people know that the chairman of the Constitutional Court is the brother-in-law of President Joko Widodo, it is predicted that support for Prabowo and Gibran will decrease.
