KRL Railway Track Repaired, No Travel Tardiness between Palmerah-Tanah Abang

Seatoday.com, Jakarta The repair of the KRL railway track between Palmerah and Tanah Abang station has been done. The Manager of External Relations and Corporate Image Care at Indonesian Commuter Railway (KAI Commuter), Leza Arlan, states that the railway track can already be passed by the train.
Leza informed me that the commuter line experienced obstacles when the track was broken. PT Kai has repaired the damage, and the speed of the train journey has been within the permitted limits. He also explained that due to the repair, there was tardiness on the journey of the commuter line that connects Palmerah and Tanah Abang. The tardiness was around 17 to 30 minutes.
KAI commuters limited the speed of KRL. During the repair, the speed limit was 10 km/hour when it crossed the location. After 08.39 AM, the speed limit became 30 km/hour. This obstacle has become the public’s spotlight because they think that it harms them very much. The passengers at KRL felt annoyed because the problem disrupted their activities.
The passengers hoped that the PT Kai Commuter Line would always carry out maintenance so that similar cases would not happen again.
It is because people have started to get used to using KRL for their mobility, going to work, school, or carrying out other activities.
The number of passengers has increased slowly but surely, in line with the improvement in the community's economy. Moreover, it can lessen pollution because the use of vehicles can be reduced. This can be seen from the large number of passengers during peak hours, proving that KRL is needed by the community.
