The cities of Yogyakarta and Hluboká nad Vltavou are both considered to be international tourist destinations, as hosts to a number of UNESCO World Heritage sites.  The cooperation covers various fields, including tourism promotion, cultural exchanges and performances, small and medium enterprise (SMEs) development, as well as education and youth. Within the next year, it is expected that the implementation of this cooperation can be outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
