SEAToday.com, Bandung - Pindad is preparing to launch its Maung tactical vehicle to be sold to the public. Pindad Technology and Development Director Prima Kharisma revealed that the vehicle will be marketed after obtaining certification from the Transportation Ministry.
“We are preparing the certification with the Transportation Ministry, with the Vehicle Testing and Certification Center (BPLJSKB),” Prima said on Wednesday (2/26).
Prima explained that the decision to market Maung to the public was due to the high interest. Moreover, President Prabowo has also made Maung a presidential operational vehicle.
However, Prima ensures that the Maung that is marketed to the public will undergo minor changes to make it more comfortable to use.
The price range for this vehicle has not yet been mentioned, but Pindad is targeting that the certification process can be completed by the end of this month.
