SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The government has set a school holiday during Ramadan as stated in the Joint Circular Letter of the Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Religious Affairs Minister, and Home Affairs Minister on Learning during Ramadan 1446 H/2025 AD.

The letter details that the start of Ramadan holiday will take place from February 27 to March 5. Schools will then continue to conduct learning activities from March 6-25. Furthermore, the Eid al-Fitr holiday will take place from March 26 to April 8, and schools will begin again  on April 9.

Despite the holiday at the beginning of Ramadan, students are expected to continue to study independently at home. While on the Eid holiday, they are expected to be able to gather with their families.
