Mensos Tegaskan Tidak Ada Bansos untuk Korban Judi Online
SEAToday.com, Sukabumi - Menteri Sosial (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf atau Gus Ipul menegaskan tidak ada program bantuan sosial (bansos) dari pemerintah yang diperuntukkan bagi pelaku judi online.
“Kalau kita tidak ada program untuk judol (judi online), jadi saya tegaskan, tidak ada program untuk itu. Jadi jelas, yang kita garap ini adalah target (bansos) yang memang sudah kita programkan sebelumnya,” sebutnya pada Senin (18/11).
Menteri Ipul juga mengimbau agar penerima dapat memanfaatkan bansos sesuai peruntukannya, yaitu meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidup. Ia mengingatkan bahwa judi online bukanlah jalan menuju kesejahteraan, melainkan akan membawa kerugian.
Untuk memperkuat upaya pemberantasan judi online, Menteri Ipul mengajak seluruh masyarakat, termasuk tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat, untuk membantu edukasi bahaya judi online. Ia juga mengajak media, yang ia nilai memiliki peran strategis, untuk turut menyebarkan informasi dampak negatif judi online.
