Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan, who welcomed the President back from Jordan—the final stop on his trip—shared key highlights with the media.
“(It was about) his successful meetings. First, his speech before the Turkish Parliament, being personally welcomed at the airport by President Erdogan. Then, in Jordan, he was even driven by King Abdullah himself, including an investment commitment from Qatar of 2 billion USD to Danantara,” said Budi Gunawan as quoted on Antara.
President Prabowo landed at 07:35 AM aboard the presidential aircraft PK-GRD. He was welcomed by VP Gibran and several high-ranking officials, including Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Commander of the Armed Forces General Agus Subiyanto, and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
According to on-site reports, the President spoke with ministers for around 15 minutes, first with Budi Gunawan, followed by Prasetyo Hadi and VP Gibran. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya also stood nearby, attentively listening.
Budi added, as quoted on Antara, “aside from the warm welcomes by President Erdogan and King Abdullah II, the President also shared outcomes including investment plans from the UAE, Qatar, and Egypt.”
“Investment from Qatar amounts to 2 billion USD for Danantara. The UAE also expressed interest. Lastly, cooperation with Egypt will greatly encourage our students there,” he explained as quoted on Antara.
