Komisi VI DPR Geram Apple Minta Tax Holiday 50 Tahun

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Isu pelarangan perangkat ponsel terbaru dari Apple, iPhone 16, menjadi salah satu topik yang ramai dibicarakan. Komisi VI DPR turut menyoroti isu tersebut dan menyatakan dukungannya atas keputusan pemerintah atas larangan tersebut. Tidak hanya itu, anggota Komisi VI Mufti Anam bahkan mengusulkan untuk memblokir produk Apple karena geram atas permintaan Apple untuk mendapatkan tax holiday selama 50 tahun.
“Mereka sudah menikmati begitu banyak duit dari rakyat Indonesia tapi ternyata mereka mau investasi disini saja minta syarat tax holiday 50 tahun. Kami dan rakyat Indonesia marah kepada iPhone (Apple), pak. Kalau perlu diblokir semua, seluruh produk iPhone tidak boleh masuk ke negara kita. Ini pelecehan terhadap negara kita,” kata Mufti dalam Rapat Kerja Komisi VI DPR pada Senin (4/11).
Indonesia melarang peredaran iPhone 16 karena Apple belum memenuhi persyaratan Tingkat Komponen Dalam Negeri (TKDN), yang mengharuskan minimal 40% kandungan lokal pada produk agar dapat dipasarkan secara legal di Indonesia.
Pemerintah Indonesia juga meminta Apple untuk berinvestasi dalam bentuk pengembangan fasilitas riset atau pusat pelatihan. Namun, Apple belum mencapai komitmen investasi sekitar 1,71 triliun Rupiah yang telah disepakati. Akibatnya, iPhone 16 belum mendapatkan sertifikasi IMEI di Indonesia, sehingga penggunaannya pada jaringan telekomunikasi Indonesia dianggap tidak sah.
