Citilink Domestic Flights Move to Terminal 1B Soetta Airport Starting March 15

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Citilink airlines will officially move from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport starting March 15, 2025.
This move is part of the rezoning carried out by InJourney as airport manager to optimize capacity and services.
All Citilink domestic flights will move to Terminal 1B, while international flights will move to Terminal 2F.
“So that there is no mistake, so that it can be in accordance with the flight plan. This is being implemented this month, soon March 15, so we are announcing this,” said Garuda Indonesia Commercial Director Ade R Susardi, Thursday (6/3/2025).
In total there are 63 flights and 33 destinations that will be served in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
To ensure a smooth move to the new terminal, Citilink also provides a shuttle connected to Gate 3 Terminal 3 to Terminal 1B or Terminal 2F.
Previously, Asst. Deputy Communication and Legal of Soekarno-Hatta Airport M. Holik Muardi said that the state-owned airline will first occupy terminal 1B.
“As of March 15, 2025, Citilink airline will move to terminal 1 B for domestic flights. And indeed for this move as a step as well as preparation for Lebaran 2025 transportation,” he said in Tangerang, Thursday (27/2/2025).
Citilink's transfer was carried out as part of a re-balancing effort for airlines at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang.
“The basis is because there is re-balancing at Soetta Airport, which we know that the new Terminal 1 is operating in Terminal 1A, and now Terminal 1B will be operated,” he said.
Meanwhile, InJourney President Director Maya Watono said that Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang will focus on domestic low-cost flights or low cost carrier (LCC).
“Terminal 1 we are indeed focusing on LCC to low cost carriers, so indeed we are re-zoning this so that there are domestic LCC, international LCC and Umrah, then also in T3 it is FSC and international,” he said.
Maya also ensured that this move was carried out in stages to maintain service quality.
In addition to Lion Air and Citilink, other airlines such as TransNusa will also move to Terminal 1. However, TransNusa's move will take place after Lebaran.
The revitalization process of Terminal 1 is still ongoing. Currently, Terminal 1C is still being revitalized and will be completed in December 2025 to be operated immediately.
