SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Dinas Bina Marga DKI Jakarta siap membangun dua jalan layang (flyover) pada tahun anggaran 2025.
Pembangunan jalan layang ini sebagai upaya meningkatkan keselamatan dan kelancaran berlalu lintas di perlintasan kereta api.
Kepala Dinas Bina Marga Jakarta, Heru Suwondo mengatakan pembangunan ini sejalan dengan undang-undang yang mewajibkan perlintasan jalan dan rel kereta api ditingkatkan menjadi tidak sebidang melalui pembangunan lintas atas atau bawah (flyover atau underpass).
“Pembangunan flyover ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi lalu lintas di Jakarta, khususnya di perlintasan kereta api yang rawan kemacetan dan kecelakaan lalu lintas," ujar Heru.
Adapun dua jalan layang yang akan dibangun yaitu Flyover Latumenten di Jalan Latumenten, dekat Rumah Sakit Jiwa yang akan melintasi rel kereta api.
Pembangunan jalan layang ini akan dilakukan di sisi timur dan barat jalan, dengan panjang sisi barat 440,86 meter dan lebar (Right of Way/ROW) 11 meter, serta panjang sisi timur 439,23 meter dengan ROW 10 meter.
Kemudian, ada Flyover Bintaro Puspita yang direncanakan memiliki panjang 441 meter dengan ROW 9 meter dan dibangun untuk mengatasi kemacetan di perlintasan kereta api di kawasan Bintaro.
Dinas Bina Marga Jakarta pun berkomitmen untuk proyek ini dapat selesai tepat waktu dan sesuai standar kualitas yang ditetapkan.
“Pembangunan kedua flyover tersebut dilakukan menggunakan anggaran tahun jamak (multiyears),” ujar dia.
