Mulai 2025, Pendaki Rinjani Dilarang Bawa Plastik

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) melarang para pendaki membawa plastik saat mendaki Gunung Rinjani, Lombok mulai 2025.

Larangan ini akan mulai diberlakukan pada pembukaan jalur pendakian pada 3 April 2025. Langkah ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi sampah anorganik di jalur pendakian.

Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani (BTNGR) mencatat sebanyak 43,24 ton sampah yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas pendakian dan non pendakian di kawasan Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani pada 2024.

Sebanyak 40,8 ton sampah dihasilkan dari aktivitas pendakian di Gunung Rinjani, sedangkan aktivitas non pendakian menghasilkan sampah sebanyak 2,44 ton.

Berdasarkan data tersebut solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu melarang para pendaki membawa plastik saat naik ke Rinjani. Hal ini dilakukan setalah Dinas Pariwisata NTB berkoordinasi dengan Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani.

Para pendaki Gunung Rinjani tidak lagi diperbolehkan membawa botol minuman plastik dan kemasan makanan sekali pakai.

Sebagai gantinya, pendaki diwajibkan menggunakan tumbler sebagai wadah air dan membawa wadah logistik yang dibungkus plastik atau botol kaca.

Sementara itu, apabila para pendaki melanggar aturan ini, maka akan terancam blacklist atau pelanggaran pendakian selama dua tahun.

Nantinya, barang yang dibawa pendaki saat naik dan turun akan dicek oleh pihak TN Gunung Rinjani. Pemeriksaan ini juga berlaku tidak hanya bagi para pendaki, tetapi juga untuk porter.
