Ministry of Communication and Digital Ready for New Government Duties

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Following the inauguration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, on Sunday (10/20/2024), the Ministry of Communication and Digital is geared up to commence its responsibilities under the new administration.
"We are eagerly awaiting and prepared to follow the directives of Minister Meutya Hafid," stated Director General of Information and Public Communication at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Prabunindya Revta Revolusi, in an interview with ANTARA on Sunday.
Reflecting on the renaming of the Ministry from Communication and Informatics to Communication and Digital, Prabunindya expressed optimism, awaiting further guidance from the newly appointed Minister, Meutya Hafid.
President Prabowo Subianto, alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, unveiled the roster of ministers for the Red and White Cabinet at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, on Sunday. The cabinet includes seven coordinating ministers, 41 ministers, and five officials at ministerial level.
Meutya Hafid, a member of the Golkar Party, assumes the role of Minister of Communication and Digital in the 2024-2029 administration, marking a significant step in Indonesia's digital transformation journey.
In conclusion, the national digital transformation is poised to advance further under the stewardship of Minister Meutya Hafid, as Indonesia enters a new era under President Prabowo's leadership.
