Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka Officially President and Vice President of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 Term

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - On Sunday, (10/20/2024), Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka were officially sworn in as the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the MPR/DPR Building in Jakarta, attended by members of parliament and distinguished guests.
At exactly 10:31 AM WIB, Prabowo and Gibran took the oath of office with strong conviction. He pledged to carry out his duties as president and vice president to the best of his ability and in accordance with the constitution.
Prabowo oath of office read:
"Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim, by Allah, I swear that I will fulfill the duties of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the best of my ability and with utmost fairness, uphold the Constitution, faithfully execute all laws and regulations, and devote myself to the nation and the people."
Gibran oath of office read:
"Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim, by Allah, I swear that I will fulfill the duties of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia to the best of my ability and with utmost fairness, uphold the Constitution, faithfully execute all laws and regulations, and devote myself to the nation and the people."
With the chairman of the MPR Ahmad Muzani saying "Honorable members of the assembly and esteemed guests, Alhamdulillah, with great gratitude, we have witnessed the oath-taking ceremony of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, elected in the 2024 general election. With the oath now sworn, from this moment on, General (Ret.) Haji Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka are the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term.”
Prabowo and Gibran officially assumed the presidency and vice presidency, ready to lead the nation for the next five years.
