Exciting! Soldiers Perform Martial Arts Demonstrations at the 79th Indonesian Armed Forces Anniversary

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian Armed Forces soldiers were full of energy as they showcased their martial arts skills during the 79th anniversary celebration held on Saturday (10/5) at Lapangan Silang Monas, Central Jakarta.
The first demonstration was tactical martial arts. This display showed how a single Indonesian Armed Forces soldier, using only his bare hands, could defeat five opponents at once, all armed with sharp weapons.
Tactical martial arts, initiated by Armed Forces Commander General Agus Subiyanto, highlights that even when outnumbered and facing armed enemies, an Indonesian soldier must be able to overcome them, even with empty hands.
There was also a martial arts act where a soldier jumped out of a vehicle to help his fellow soldier fight off several enemies. With quick reflexes, the soldier managed to fend off the large number of attackers.
Another impressive demonstration was the “Sandi Yudha Operation,” where soldiers used only the objects on their bodies to defeat enemies.
Although Indonesian Armed Forces soldiers are equipped with weapons to maintain national security and sovereignty, mastering martial arts ensures they can defeat enemies even without weapons.
The 79th anniversary celebration will continue with several other military performances. The event also includes a public festival featuring various music groups and singers throughout the evening. Many people have enthusiastically gathered at Monas to witness the heroic acts of the Indonesian Armed Forces.
