SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Jerman mengumumkan visa kerja baru Chancenkarte atau "Kartu Peluang" bagi warga negara non-UE untuk berimigrasi ke Jerman.
Melansir BBC News, Chancenkarte telah membuka pendaftaran sejak 1 Juni. Program visa ini menawarkan sistem berbasis poin yang menilai pelamar berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, termasuk kualifikasi akademik, keterampilan bahasa, dan pengalaman profesional.
“[Kartu Peluang] akan memudahkan dan mempercepat orang-orang yang berpengalaman dan berpotensi untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang cocok dan memulainya,” kata Nancy Faeser, Menteri Dalam Negeri dan Komunitas Federal Jerman.
Warga negara non-UE yang mendapatkan Kartu Peluang dapat tinggal di Jerman hingga satu tahun. Selain itu, mereka juga dapat bekerja paruh waktu secara legal sambil mencari pekerjaan permanen tanpa harus mensponsori perusahaan terlebih dahulu.
Namun, untuk mendapatkan visa ini pemohon harus memiliki peringkat enam poin atau lebih.
Pemohon perlu memiliki kualifikasi profesional atau gelar akademik yang diakui sepenuhnya di Jerman atau pengalaman profesional selama bertahun-tahun, usia tertentu, dan keterampilan bahasa.
Selain itu, pemohon juga harus menunjukkan bukti kemampuan untuk menutupi biaya hidup selama mencari pekerjaan setidaknya €1,027 (Rp17 juta) per bulan.
Program visa baru ini dimaksudkan untuk mengatasi kekurangan tenaga kerja dan meningkatkan jumlah pekerja profesional di bidang-bidang seperti kedokteran, pendidikan, manufaktur, dan teknik di Jerman.
Chancenkarte dibentuk untuk mendukung warga negara non-UE untuk menyederhanakan proses imigrasi Jerman dan mencari pekerjaan di negara tersebut.
