President Prabowo Arrived in Thailand: Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Thailand on Monday (19/5) local time to carry out a series of activities to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Thailand.
"In the context of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto to Thailand, he will carry out a series of important agendas in order to improve bilateral relations between Indonesia and Thailand," said Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in a press statement received on Sunday, as reported by Antara.
In Thailand, President Prabowo held an official audience with the King of Thailand, His Majesty Maha Vajiralongkorn, at the Amphorn Royal Palace, Bangkok. After that, the President attended the Government House to attend an official welcoming ceremony led directly by the Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
"The official welcoming ceremony will begin with the playing of two national anthems from each country, then an inspection of the honor guard, then ending with introductions from the two delegations from each country," said Yusuf.
President Prabowo and PM Paetongtarn will then hold a bilateral meeting to discuss strengthening cooperation in various fields. Also attending the meeting were a number of ministers and high-ranking state officials.
"The President will be accompanied by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and also the Cabinet Secretary, as well as the Indonesian Ambassador in Bangkok," Yusuf added.
