Over 250 Mossad Officials Sign Petition to End Gaza War

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - More than 250 former officials from Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency have signed a new petition calling for an immediate end to the war in Gaza and the facilitation of the hostages’ release, Israeli media reported on Sunday evening.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth Press, as quoted on Antara, “the letter, initiated by former Mossad member Gail Shorsh, was signed by three former Mossad chiefs—Danny Yatom, Ephraim Halevy, and Tamir Pardo—as well as dozens of former department heads and deputy heads of the agency.”
This marks the second petition within 24 hours signed by both former and active members of Israel’s security forces, adding to a growing wave of public opposition emerging from within the country's defense and intelligence institutions.
Since Thursday, at least six similar petitions have been issued by reservists, retired military officers, and veterans from various branches of the Israeli military.
Earlier on Sunday, approximately 200 active reserve military doctors also signed a petition demanding an end to the conflict and the return of hostages held in Gaza.
The petitions reflect increasing internal dissent within Israel’s security establishment regarding the ongoing war and its humanitarian consequences.
