Gambir Station Served 143 Thousand People in Return Flow Period

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Gambir Station has served around 143 thousand people during the 2025 Lebaran return flow period until its peak on Friday (4/4/2025) last weekend.

"For today (yesterday, ed) there were 16,274 passengers arriving at Gambir Station," said KAI DAOP 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko as reported by Antara.

Ixfan added that it is estimated that by April 11, 2025, the total number of passengers at Gambir Station will reach 203,768 passengers. "Friday is the peak of the return flow of trains coming to Gambir Station," he said.

According to Ixfan, since the return flow period on April 2, the number of passengers arriving in the DAOP 1 Jakarta area has consistently been above 40 thousand people per day.

During last weekend, it was recorded that there were more than 52 thousand passengers arriving each day. The peak occurred on Saturday (5/4) with 52,651 passengers, followed by Friday (4/4) with 52,564 passengers, and Sunday (6/4) with 52,062 passengers, but these figures are still subject to change.
