President Prabowo Encourage Press and Media to Honor Integrity in Prioritizing Indonesia’s Best Interest

Reflecting on eight decades of Indonesia's press, President Prabowo praised its growth, evolution, and adaptability to ongoing changes.

"The Indonesian press has become a vital pillar in democratic life, voicing the truth and providing accurate information to the Indonesian public. I appreciate the hard work of journalists, reporters, and media professionals who continue to serve with great dedication, despite the increasingly complex challenges they face," said President Prabowo.

President Prabowo emphasized the need for the press to remain alert against hoaxes that could polarize public opinion and provoke conflict, reminding them to uphold their responsibility in line with the nation’s and state’s interests to preserve the true meaning of press freedom.
