Hukuman Harvey Moeis Diperberat Jadi 20 Tahun Penjara

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pengadilan Tinggi (PT) DKI Jakarta menjatuhkan hukuman 20 tahun penjara kepada terdakwa Harvey Moeis dalam kasus korupsi pengelolaan tata niaga komoditas timah di wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) PT Timah Tbk. Pada tahun 2015-2022.
Hukuman tersebut mengubah hukuman sebelumnya yakni 6 tahun dan 6 bulan penjara plus denda Rp1 miliar subsider 6 bulan pidana kurungan serta uang pengganti Rp210 miliar subsider dua tahun penjara.
"Menjatuhkan pidana kepada HM Harvey Moeis selama 20 tahun dan denda sebesar Rp1 miliar subsider 8 bulan kurungan,” kata Hakim Ketua Teguh Harianto di Pengadilan Tinggi DKI, Cempaka Putih, Jakarta Pusat seperti dilansir Antara.
"Perbuatan terdakwa juga sangat menyakiti hati rakyat karena di saat ekonomi susah, terdakwa melakukan tindak pidana korupsi," katanya menambahkan.
Putusan terbaru ini dikeluarkan setelah adanya upaya banding dari Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) dan penasihat hukum Harvey. Dalam putusan terbaru ini, hakim juga menghukum Harvey membayar uang pengganti sebesar Rp210 miliar subsider dua tahun penjara.
Harvey dinilai terbukti melakukan tindak pidana korupsi dalam pengelolaan tata niaga komoditas timah di di wilayah IUP PT. Timah Tbk tahun 2015-2022 dan Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang (TPPU).
Tak hanya Harvey hakim juga membacakan putusan banding terdakwa Helena Lim, Direktur Utama PT. Timah Tbk periode 2016-2021, Mochtar Riza Pahlevi Tabrani, Direktur Utama PT Refined Bangka Tin (RBT) sejak taun 2018 Suparta, dan Direktur Pengembangan Usaaha PT RBT sejak 2017 Reza Andriansyah.
