Menkomdigi Minta Platform Digital Tangggungjawab Soal Isi Konten

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Meutya Hafid menegaskan, paltform digital harus bertanggung jawab terhadap konten berbahaya. Platform yang gagal menghapus konten pornografi anak dalam waktu 1x4 jam akan dikenakan denda besar.
Meutya mengatakan melindungi anak-anak dari dampak negatif internet adalah prioritas utama pemerintah. “Tidak ada toleransi bagi platform yang lalai,” katanya pada rilis pers pada Senin seperti dilansir Antara.
Pernyataan disampaikan setelah pelantikan pejabat Kementerian Kominfo di Jakarta pada 31 Januari 2025. Keputusan Menteri Kominfo Nomor 552 Tahun 2024 mengharuskan platform digital segera menghapus konten berbahaya dalam batas waktu yang telah ditentukan.
Sesuai peraturan, platform wajib menghapus konten pornografi anak dan terorisme dalam waktu 4 jam setelah laporan diterima. Kebijakan itu bertujuan guna mengurangi dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh konten berbahaya di dunia digital.
Pemerintah fokus kepada penghapusan konten negatif lain, seperti perjudian dan investasi ilegal. Aturan ini menargetkan penyelenggara sistem elektronik di sektor privat sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku.
Demi kemudahan pengawasan, Pemerintah merancang SAMAN, sistem pencatatan sanksi administratif pada platform yang melanggar. SAMAN ini bukti komitmen pemerintah untuk menciptakan ruang digital yang aman, khususnya anak-anak.
Meutya menegaskan kebijakan itu sejalan dengan negara-negara lain yang telah mengimplementasikan regulasi serupa. “Indonesia tidak boleh tertinggal dalam melindungi masyarakat dari konten negatif.” katanya.
