SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Bhayangkara Hospital Level I Pusdokkes Polri (RS Polri) held a reconciliation of the bodies of victims of the Glodok Plaza fire. This process is intended to identify victims by matching antemortem and postmortem data.

"There are 14 body bags and today there is a reconciliation," said Brigadier General Prima Heru Yulihartono as quoted from Antara. This identification was carried out to ensure the accuracy of the fire victim data.

Reconciliation of bodies is an important stage in the process of identifying disaster victims. Authorities will match victim information with the data that has been collected.

Since Thursday (16/1), RS Polri has received several body bags from the fire location. The last delivery was recorded on Wednesday (29/1) at 15.35 WIB.

RS Polri managed to identify three of the 14 victims who were reported missing. The identification process was carried out based on DNA examination and medical data of the victims.

The victims who have been identified are Zukhi Fitria Rahdja (42), Aulia Belinda Kurapak (28), and Osima Yukari (29). The three victims match the DNA of their families.

"Today is still being discussed. Matching antemortem and postmortem data," added Brigadier General Prima. Meanwhile, other body bags containing body parts are still being examined.

There are 14 people reported missing in the fire. The identification process continues so that the victim's family can know the results with certainty.
