BMKG Forecasts Most Jakarta Areas Will See Rain on Tuesday Afternoon
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - On Tuesday, (12/17/2024), BMKG predicts rainfall across the majority of Jakarta's administrative regions during the afternoon.
"Jakarta Barat (West Jakarta) will experience light rain in the morning, turning cloudy by 10:00 AM, and light rain will return at 1:00 PM until the evening," stated BMKG via their Instagram account @infobmkg.
Jakarta Pusat will see light rain in the morning, transitioning to moderate rain from the afternoon until the evening, followed by thick clouds at night. Meanwhile, Jakarta Selatan and Jakarta Timur are expected to start with thick clouds in the morning, with moderate rain hitting at 1:00 PM and continuing through the afternoon.
In Jakarta Utara, light rain will persist through the morning and afternoon, intensifying to moderate rain by the evening, before turning cloudy at night. The Kepulauan Seribu will experience light rain in the morning, followed by overcast skies from the afternoon until night.
