SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Jakarta and Kepulauan Seribu are predicted to experience light to moderate rain starting from noon and lasting through the afternoon, according to BMKG on Wednesday, (11/20/2024).
Morning conditions will feature heavy cloud cover, with temperatures ranging from 30-31°C as shared on BMKG's Instagram, @infobmkg.
Rain will intensify in Jakarta Barat and Jakarta Selatan by midday, with light rain escalating to thunderstorms in the south. Other areas, including Jakarta Pusat, Jakarta Timur, and Jakarta Utara, will remain under overcast skies.
By evening, rain is expected to subside, leaving most regions cloudy, except for Kepulauan Seribu, where light rain may persist. Wind speeds are forecasted to be between 2-7 km/h, with humidity reaching a high of 97%.
Residents are encouraged to prepare for wet conditions, especially in areas with forecasted heavier downpours. Keep an eye on BMKG updates for any changes and stay safe during the rainy day.
