Jokowi to Leave for Solo in Air Force Boeing B737 A7309 Aircraft
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Indonesia's 7th President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo will return to his hometown in Solo, Central Java, Sunday (10/20) after a farewell with President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace.
Jokowi and Iriana will head to the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at around 3 PM western Indonesian time in an air force Boeing B737 A7309 aircraft. "He will depart for Solo in an air force aircraft," Presidential Communications Office Head Hasan Nasbi said.
The light green aircraft with red-and-white stripes has been ready since the afternoon at the Halim Perdanakusuma runway. It will take the aircraft 50 minutes to head to the Ai Soemarno Boyolali Airport in Central Java.
The aircraft will have four fighter aircrafts escorting it. President Prabowo reportedly will accompany Jokowi to the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. "The Indonesia Maju Cabinet will also accompany Pak Jokowi to the airport," Hasan added.
Reports said that after Prabowo-Gibran's inauguration, Jokowi will immediately return to Solo.
Jokowi will be picked up by his relative upon his arrival in Solo, Central Java. His activities upon arrival remain unknown. He might head straight home to rest.
All throughout Jokowi's 10 years of leadership, he has achieved many things, including developing the infrastructure in Indonesia, carrying the country through the COVID-19 pandemic, and recovering the economy.
