Public Listens to Speech from President Prabowo Through Big Screen
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The public was seen watching Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's speech around the Merdeka Palace area in Central Jakarta, Sunday (10/20).
Big screens were set up throughout Monas-Merdeka Palace for the people to watch the speech. In his remarks, President Prabowo thanked representatives from every country.
Moreover, Prabowo highlighted that he will "prioritize the country and people of Indonesia's interests above all".
Prabowo added that Indonesia faces "difficult" challenges "amid global dynamics". However, he ensured that he remains optimistic with the human resources and biodiversity.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we understand that what God has given us is tremendous. We have wide land and sea. We have an abundance of biodiversity," he said.
Prabowo and Gibran Rakabuming Raka have been inaugurated as the Indonesian President and VP for 2024-2029. They have taken their oaths at the MPR/DPR Building in Jakarta.
“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, in the name of Allah, I promise to carry out the responsibilities of the President of the Republic of Indonesia well and as fair as possible. I will uphold the Constitution and implement all laws and regulations in a straightforward manner, and serve the nation,” Prabowo said at the MPR/DPR Building.
